Where Are You Going?
Trail. Road. Highway. Interstate. What mode do you prefer?
If given a choice, I prefer a trail or road every time. But time is the problem, isn’t it? Tight schedules and time constraints force us to the highway or interstate, and we forfeit the leisure, peace and pleasure our hearts crave.
Having just celebrated another birthday, I am making a vow to myself. Whenever possible, Sara will choose the simple roads and trails of life. Why? Because this is where I find my core and my Creator. Psalm 46: 8 calls me to “Come behold the works of the Lord . . . .” and verse 10 admonishes, “Be still and know that I am God.”
Would you like to slow down today? Choose to recognize God’s presence and peace? There is no better way to live!
